Comportillo White wine Review
2.50 Euros, a 6/10 for us
Standard cheap white wine that you’ll find on the shelves of your local supermarket.
Comportillo wines come from the Rioja region. This white is produced using Viura (also called Macabeo) grapes, the most common white grape found in La Rioja.
Description: Hints of apple and lemon. Just a very standard white wine, nothing wrong with it but nothing remarkable either. Serve well chilled (keep in bucket) because tastes sweet and cloying as it gets warmer.
Value: At 2.50 Euros this is a good value, unpretentious wine.
