Honoro Vera Grenache wine Review
5.95 Euros. We judge it as a 7.5/10
A very good quality, great value wine that’s different from most Spanish wines you’ll find on the market.
This wine was recommended to us by the lady at our favorite wine specialty wine. It’s not a Rioja or a Ribero del Duero and it is not produced from Tempranillo grapes – it is from the Ateca winery near Zaragoza in the Autonomous Community of Aragon and is is made entirely from Garnacha (Grenache) grapes. We’ve never had wine from this region so this was a new experience.
Description: A full, strong, fruity wine that is easy to drink. I like these kind of wines and I really appreciated this one. Great with meats and cheeses.
Value: at 5.95 Euros this is a very good value wine that we’ll have again.
