Melior wine Review
7.65 Euros, a 8.5/10 for us
Very surprised by this wine. We bought a whole bunch of wines for the Christmas Holidays , most more expensive than Melior. But this bottle stood us for us, it was exactly the kind of wine we both enjoy (more down below in the description).
Melior is produced by Matarromera Wineries. It is located near Valladolid in the Ribera del Duero regions (which produce some of our favorite Spanish wines). It is made entirely of Tempranillo grapes.
Description: We like sturdy, full-bodied wines. Melior promises “a full, cheerful and intense body”. It’s exactly what we got. Its aroma is full and fruity, it is smooth tasting and has a long finish. It’s not acidic, tannic, or oaky. Just a really nice. smooth and easy drinking wine.
Value: at 7.65 Euros this was an excellent wine, one we’ll have regularly.
