Mayor de Castilla wine Review
4.50 Euros, a 7.2/10 for us
A wine that surprised us – we like it and it is similar to our favorite everyday wine (Abadía Mantrús) in quality (but unfortunately it does not quite match it in price).
Mayor de Castilla is produced by Viña Arnáiz wineries near Valladolid. It is yet another very good Ribera del Duero wine.
Description: dry, full-bodied wine with cherry and black current tastes. Good intensity, fresh finish. It all makes it an easy wine to drink.
Value: It’s not the most competitively priced wine in this category but I think that at 4.50 Euros it is still a very good quality wine for what you get. We very much enjoyed this wine.
